There seems to be another spate of metal theft underway — a neighbour in Muswell Hill Rd has reported copper piping being stolen yesterday, and I’ve noticed a few metal drains missing from the pavements again.
So, two things:
- Please report any metal theft in or near your property. The council’s “Copperheads” metal theft unit can be contacted 24/7 on 0800 222 771.
- A white Ford Bantam bakkie, CA 33737, has been reported stealing drain covers in Observatory. If you see this vehicle, please notify ADT or the police.
