Electricity supply problems in Little Mowbray– have you suffered damage?

Several residents in the part of our neighbourhood between Raapenberg and Montreal roads have suffered serious electrical problems in the past couple of days, which in some cases has damaged equipment such as computers and TVs. Jack Atmore has arranged a meeting for tonight at 6pm to discuss the issue, including the possibility of claiming compensation from the council. Meet at Jack’s house on the corner of Twickenham and Kew roads — if you need further directions give him a call on 021 686 6186.

  1. HI. ,We just happened to be at the Wild Fig early Friday evening, about 7. The CCT electricity dept was there in full force – (N2) ) side of the property as the sub station had “blown up” or some such thing. I don’t think that it should have affected properties on the other side of the freeway, but there may be a link.

Hi, I am not able to attend the meeting today but would like to receive updates on this. We have damage for at least R 5,000 (e.g. television and cables).
