20131128-105812.jpgHis Master’s Noise is a gospel choir from Helsinki, Finland. The choir sings both traditional and contemporary afro-american gospel and was the first in its genre to be established in Finland in 1988. Today the choir consists of some fifty singers, mostly young adults, from different parts of the country. His Master’s Noise has released three albums and in November 2013 a live- dvd from the choir’s 25h anniversary concert will be released.

His Master’s Noise is charactarized by its joyful and uplifting music – the essence of gospel. The choir is led by Simon Djupsjöbacka and Elna Romberg and accompanied by one of Scandinavia’s best gospel pianists, Daniel Stenbaek.

  1. A note from Stephen Arendse:
“Would you please be so kind as to convey my sincerest thanks to those who came. It was a truly special evening indeed…”

  2. Penny and John Mustart

We were at this concert, did not see too many Little Mowray people there which was a pity as it was the most magical, inspiring musical evening and we would not have missed it for anything! The Rhodes School Choir, the Male Welsh Choir and the Helsinki visiting choir were each magnificent, and when combined in some of the items they literaly sang the roof off. We were swept off our feet, musically speaking! Congratulations to Stephen Arendse for organising the event, and we hope to attend more of his concerts in the future.
