The City is inviting public comment on its proposed three year parking management tender for the greater Cape Town area. You can read more about it here. They’re also investigating where the parking problem areas are, and where a paid managed parking system should be introduced — Rondebosch and Observatory are some of the areas they’re considering. If you’d like to have a say, fill out this parking survey (it’s a PDF download) and send it in.
